With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (and a knack for connecting people), I knew I wanted to create something bigger: A village. The Intake

Families & caregivers will begin by first completing an initial intake form to learn more about your household, schedule, and priorities. This ensures we fully understand your family’s expectations before initiating the search!

02.
The Search

Tiny Nest Nanny will carefully source and screen qualified candidates, conducting reference checks and preliminary evaluations. Just so you know – only caregivers who align with your values and requirements are presented for consideration.

03.
Interviews

We arrange structured meetings and encourage optional trial sessions so you can get to know candidates in a meaningful way. This step allows families and caregivers to confirm compatibility beyond the resume.

04.
Hire & Support

Once you have selected your caregiver, we provide a tailored employment agreement and support both parties through onboarding. Our role doesn’t end there — we remain a trusted resource for ongoing guidance!

Search Fee - $250

This begins your personalized search and includes candidate sourcing, background screenings, reference checks, and interview coordination.

Placement Fee - Percentage Based

Instead of a flat rate, Tiny Nest Nanny has a placement fee based on a percentage of your caregiver’s salary. Every family’s needs look different, this structure keeps in mind schedules, duties, experience needed + expectations.

At Tiny Nest Nanny we believe every family deserves a village, so we created a babysitting membership for families to have direct access to a trusted network of fully vetted babysitters.

A flexible, stress-free way to secure quality childcare - without the endless searching, interviewing or last-minute scrambling. Whether it’s date nights, occasional babysitting, wedding babysitters, etc. Tiny Nest Nanny handles the logistics - You enjoy the peace of mind.

  • Access to a network of background-checked, vetted babysitters

  • Ability to request sitters by preference

  • Sitter profiles sent before every booking

  • Priority booking for evenings, weekends, and last minute-requests

  • Easy communication and booking support directly through Tiny Nest Nanny

 FAQs

  • No! This is a completely free service for caregivers applying with Tiny Nest Nanny.

  • It’s super simple! There is a link to fill out a Babysitter intake form in the “Nanny” Section!

  • No! If you have already applied as a caregiver, you do NOT need to apply as a babysitter as well. In your caregiver intake form, we will ask if you’d like to be considered for babysitting opportunities too!

  • Most placements are completed within 2-6 weeks depending on your family’s needs and candidate availability.

  • We typically look for at least 2 years of childcare experience, strong references, and CPR/First Aid certification (or a willingness to obtain certification).

  • Tiny Nest Nanny is based in Chicago, but as a remote agency, we’re able to expand placements into surrounding suburbs + other cities as needed!
